NASHVILLE — On the day before Thanksgiving, Taylin and Taylor Lewan (Titans Pro Bowl offensive tackle) and Hayley and Tyler Hubbard (Florida Georgia Line) distributed pre-ordered Thanksgiving meals at Nissan Stadium that fed up to 700 people. They were joined by volunteers from the Tennessee Titans staff.
Feeding Nashville was founded by Taylin Lewan and Hayley Hubbard in the aftermath of the tornado and pandemic with the goal of feeding families in Nashville, while supporting a network of local restaurants and organizations fighting hunger in the Nashville community. The organization aims to give business to local chefs and restaurant workers, while feeding hungry families.
Orders were placed in advance on Feeding Nashville’s website (www.feedingnashville.com). The opportunity to sign up for a meal was shared with local groups and ministries across Nashville. One hundred individual meals went directly to Home Street Home Ministries, an assistance group for the homeless.
