Tennessee Titans Select ANDREW® Digital DAS for new Nissan Stadium

|

The Tennessee Titans and Nissan Stadium have announced that ANDREW®, a driver in the wireless technology evolution, has been selected to support the new Nissan Stadium’s wireless network infrastructure.

One of the most anticipated sports and entertainment venues, the new Nissan Stadium is being built to deliver the best fan experience possible, including seamless connectivity at Titans games and concerts. The ANDREW ERA® distributed antenna system (DAS) will support the stadium’s wireless network, supporting everything from fan-facing services to day-to-day stadium operations.

“The new Nissan Stadium is being designed with excellent fan and operational experiences at its core,” said Andrew McIntyre, Senior Vice President of Technology & Innovation for the Tennessee Titans and Nissan Stadium. “Partnering with ANDREW will help us deliver the fast, consistent connectivity that powers immersive fan engagement, mobile-first services, and the next generation of in-venue experiences.”

The new Nissan Stadium is designed to support mobile ticketing and frictionless entry, live video streaming, real-time social engagement, cashless transactions, and all concessions markets. The network will also support security, crowd management, and back-of-house operations.

“Modern stadium needs go well beyond coverage and require a fundamentally different approach to in-building wireless,” said Upendra Pingle, General Manager of Indoor Cellular Networks for ANDREW. “With an all-digital architecture that connects directly to mobile networks, we’re enabling the performance, scalability and simplified multi-operator support that will meet the needs of fans, partners and operations teams for years to come. ANDREW has been the leader in digital DAS – designing innovative products – for 89 years and will continue to lead the market for decades to come.”
