Fisk University honored as 12th Titan; Jubilee Singers to perform National Anthem
The Titans will honor the students and faculty of Fisk University as honorary 12th Titans prior to Sunday’s noon kickoff at Nissan Stadium. The university, located less than three miles west of the stadium, was recently the site of the Titans’ “End Racism,” video that launched in June. The Fisk Jubilee Singers will perform a pre-recorded rendition of the National Anthem during pre-game ceremonies.

Titans and Mars Petcare continue adoption push after successful weekend
Last Sunday, the Titans and Mars Petcare displayed the cutouts of 200 adoptable pets in shelters across Nashville and Houston as part of Mars Petcare’s BETTER CITIES FOR PETS Adoption Weekend. One hundred fifty pets were adopted throughout the weekend from the five shelters that participated in the initiative.
The cutouts will remain in place in Section 145 for Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers to remind fans that the need for pet adoption continues year-round.
Titans Community Drive benefits American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge
This week’s Titans Community Drive benefits American Cancer Society Hope Lodges in Memphis and Nashville. The team is collecting household items for both facilities, which offer cancer patients and their caregivers a free place to stay when their best hope for effective treatment may be in another city. To participate, fans should visit www.tennesseetitans.com/charitydrives to donate from the wish list.

Capacity remains at 15 percent for Oct. 25 game
Fan capacity for Sunday’s game will remain 15 percent as scheduled, marking the final time a Titans home game will be at that number before expanding to 21 percent in November. The expectation is that the stadium will remain at 21 percent for the rest of the season, which is the maximum Nissan Stadium can accommodate under current CDC regulations.
The Titans created the Safe Stadium Plan in collaboration with the City of Nashville Mayor’s Office, Metro Nashville Public Health Department and local and national health experts. Key components include:
- Socially-distant seating pods accommodating parties of one to a maximum of six people
- Mobile ticketing and parking, to eliminate physical contact while scanning passes
- Mandatory face coverings at all times, except when actively eating or drinking
- Over 400 hand sanitizing stations throughout the stadium
- Individually-wrapped food items at concession stands
- Elimination of all smoking and vaping areas in the facility
- Health screenings and personal protective equipment for all Nissan Stadium employees
- A comprehensive cleaning plan during events for bathrooms and near concession areas
