NASHVILLE — This week’s ‘Fill the Boot’ virtual charity drive, a collaboration between the Nashville Fire Department and IAFF Nashville Local 140, benefits the Muscular Dystrophy Association, which helps people with muscular dystrophy, ALS and related muscle-debilitating diseases. This drive runs through Sunday, December 20.
Fans interested in participating should visit tennesseetitans.com/charitydrives. Drives are still entirely virtual and we will not have any volunteers accepting donations on site at Sunday’s game.
About Fill the Boot:
- For 66 years, the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) has collected critical funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) as part of their Fill the Boot program.
- This year the members of the Nashville Fire Department and the IAFF Nashville Local 140 are conducting a virtual Fill the Boot campaign for MDA to help people with muscular dystrophy, ALS and related muscle-debilitating diseases.
- All donations help fund research for promising treatments and quality care for patients. MDA Care Centers across the country provide comprehensive care for more than 60,000 children and adults living with muscular dystrophy.
